Each month, on a Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm, a group of Street Vendor Project volunteers get together to walk the streets and do outreach and recruitment. Its a great way to get to know New York City and the hard-working people who work on our streets. This (admittedly old) video should give you the idea

Apart from Saturday outreach, we also use teams of volunteers, students, interns, people between jobs, and others to help out in various ways around our office. We need help planning meetings, shooting videos, making phone calls, writing legal briefs, and doing all kinds of other stuff, depending on your interests and ability.
